Ingredients:
- 1 cup Greek yoghurt
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons mixed herbs
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1 egg
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Combine the yoghurt, self raising flour and olive oil in a large bowl.
- Mix to combine.
- Pour onto a chopping board and knead until a dough is formed.
- Add the herbs and cheese and mix well.
- Divide into 12 small balls and roll.
- Put the balls into a nonstick loaf pan.
- Whisk the egg.
- Brush the tops with egg.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Notes:
Freezer friendly.
Substitutions:
- No oil? Use melted butter
- No self raising flour? 1 cup plain flour plus 2 teaspoons baking powder
- No mixed herbs? Use whatever herbs you've got
